Superintendent Jeanné Collins has announced the appointment of Nikki Fuller, Esq. as Deputy Director of Human Resources and Recruitment & Retention Specialist. Collins anticipates approval by the School Board at its September 11, 2012 meeting with a start date of October 3, 2012. Louis Maguire joins TD Bank as store manager in Manchester Center

TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Louis F. Maguire as Store Manager of the store located at 58 Bonnet St. in Manchester Center, Vt. An Assistant Vice President, he is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the region.

Merchants Bank appoints Shannon McDougal as community banking manager

Kelley Jordick, community banking division manager at Merchants Bank, announced the appointment of Shannon McDougal as community banking manager of the North Avenue, Burlington office.

McDougal has been with Merchants since 2002. She joined the company as a Teller/Customer Representative at the Jericho branch. In 2005, she became a Lender/Customer Representative in Jericho and then moved up to the role of Personal Banker Lender II. Most recently, McDougal served as Branch Coordinator at Merchants’ College Street location.

Vermont Tech welcomes Jessica Van Deren as Director of Admissions

Jessica Van Deren, a recruitment and enrollment specialist with extensive marketing experience, joins Vermont Tech today in the key position of Director of Admissions. Van Deren will lead all admissions and recruitment efforts, including planning, developing, and leading an aggressive recruitment strategy that will build upon Vermont Tech’s success at attracting excellent students.

St Michael’s names Dr. Laurence Clerfeuille, Assistant Professor of Modern Languages, French

Dr. Laurence Clerfeuille, with a doctorate from the University of Southern California, has been named Assistant Professor of Modern Languages, French, at Saint Michael’s College. Her dissertation, Revolts without Witness, is an examination of revolution in Haitian literature.

“I was demonstrating that the history of Haitian resistance, that existed during revolutionary times and made Haiti the first independent Caribbean nation, has continued, although it is rarely recognized,” she said.

Meaghan McLaughlin joins National Bank of Middlebury

National Bank of Middlebury is pleased to announce the appointment of Meaghan McLaughlin as a Community Lender.

Meaghan, a resident of Middlebury, has worked in the banking industry for almost ten years in a variety of roles and was most recently a commercial underwriter for the bank. She brings breadth of knowledge from her experience reviewing appraisals and analyzing self-employed borrowers. Meaghan joined National Bank of Middlebury in early 2010. She previously worked at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
