Rita Lafountain joins Keller Williams Realty Green Mountain Properties

Rita Lafountain, has joined The Adam Hergenrother Team at Keller Williams Realty Green Mountain Properties and an Executive Assistant.

Rita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art from the University of Maine. Her professional experience includes graphic design, property management, and event production. Rita is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and social media & graphic design savvy. Rita resides in Burlington and when she isn’t working she enjoys attending art and cultural events with her family.

Ian Squirrell named store manager, VP at TD Bank in Montpelier

TD Bank has promoted Ian P. Squirrell to Store Manager, Vice President of the Montpelier store located at 90 Main St. in Montpelier, Vt. He is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout Northern Vermont.

Squirrell has six years of experience in banking with expertise in lending. He joined TD Bank in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative and most recently served as a Regional Consumer Lender in Northern Vermont for three years.

Bodette joins Otter Creek as marketing manager

Cheryl Bodette has joined Otter Creek Awnings, Sunrooms & Custom Closets, Inc. as the new marketing manager.

Bodette is a native Vermonter and a resident of Milton. She has an extensive background in marketing, sales and management and is an active volunteer with Lyric Theatre Company.

Otter Creek designs and installs custom awnings, sunrooms and closets for homes and businesses throughout Vermont.

Beth Pearce for Treasurer announces new campaign manager, communications director

State Treasurer Beth Pearce has announced that Ryan Emerson, former manager of Donovan for Attorney General, will be taking the lead as her new campaign manager. Dylan Giambatista has also been brought on as the Communications Director.

Beth Pearce, the 2-year incumbent, is optimistic about the new additions. “I’m excited to have them on board. These are two people who will bring a lot of energy to the race. Regardless of any predictions, we’re not taking anything for granted, and we’re going to run a strong campaign on all fronts from now until November.”

Sarah Galbraith joins Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund’s Farm to Plate Team

The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund (VSJF) announced today that it has hired Sarah Galbraith as its Farm to Plate Network Assistant. Ms. Galbraith was formerly the Operations Manager for the Biomass Energy Resource Center (BERC) which recently merged with Vermont Energy Investment Corporation. Since leaving BERC she interned with Food Works at Two Rivers Center, assisting them with fundraising and donor development.
