DEW Construction Corp. hires preconstruction manager

DEW Construction is excited to announce that Matthew Wheaton has recently joined the company as the newly appointed Manager of Preconstruction Services. Mr. Wheaton will be responsible for the flow of communication between the client, DEW and designers. He will oversee and ensure that permitting deliverables are being met by the design teams, estimates are prepared timely, schedules are developed, and design deliverables are met, while coordinating with BIM services and maintaining client relationships.

Kelly grew up in Burlington and worked at WVNY TV-22, WEZF-93FM and WXXX-95Triple X, he returns to Chittenden County after stints in New York and Los Angeles where he consulted on content creation and social media for California Fuel Cell Partnership, Hybridfest, Green Drive Expo-Bay Area and HybridCars.com and PluginCars.com.

The Vermont Agency graduates four associates from Naifa’s Leadership in Life Institute

The Vermont Agency™, an independent office of National Life Insurance Company of Montpelier, VT, is proud to announce that four Associates have recently completed the Leadership in Life Institute course of study offered by NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. St Michael’s names former school counselor as the new Assistant Director for Alumni and Parent Relations

Meghan A. Sweezey, school counselor and creator of Girls Skills Clinic for ice hockey players, has been named Saint Michael's College Assistant Director for Alumni and Parent Relations. Ms. Sweezey, a 2010 graduate of Saint Michael’s, began at the college November 26, where she will concentrate on outreach to alumni.

“I grew so much as a Saint Michael’s student—now I want to use my skills to help build relationships for the college,” Ms. Sweezey said.
