Kim Ladue, RN, MSN, APRN, FNPC recently began working with Doctors Hayes, Heitzman, MacDonald and Mueller at Central Vermont Cardiology. She has over 33 years of nursing experience, and was most recently employed in a local family practice.
Kim has strong ties to central Vermont. She graduated from Harwood Union High School and the University of Vermont’s two year associates degree program, graduating with her RN. Her first nursing position was at Central Vermont Hospital (now a part of Central Vermont Medical Center). After spending time in Idaho, the State of Washington and Colorado, Kim moved back to Vermont in 2004 to be near family.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Colorado and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
She held the position of cardiovascular resource nurse and cath lab nurse at Boulder Community Hospital where she coordinated all aspects of cardiac patient care and provided staff, patient and family education. Kim was also invited by management to collaborate with cardiologists to help establish their open-heart surgery and cath programs. At Doctors Hospital in Colorado Springs she was catheterization lab head nurse where she teamed up with cardiologists on the establishment of their open heart program and cath lab.

Central Vermont Cardiology physicians perform the following types of cardiology tests: Electrocardiogram (EKG), Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Echocardiogram, Peripheral Vascular Exam, Electroencephalogram and Nuclear Medicine (Molecular Imaging). Central Vermont Cardiology is located on the second floor of Medical Office Building A.
