CVMC Gallery hangs Paris/Provence paintings by Susan Abbott

Marshfield resident Susan Abbott received her MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has worked as a professional artist since that time. Her show in the Central Vermont Medical Center lobby gallery represents work done in Paris and in Provence.

Susan’s still life and landscape paintings are inspired by a sense of place, whether the back roads of New England, quays of Paris, or the lavender fields of Provence. Travels for both painting inspiration and teaching have taken her, accompanied by her sketchbook and French easel, all over the world.

Mike Anderson joins RehabGYM

The RehabGYM is excited to announce the addition of Mike Anderson, M.Ed. to its Colchester team as Business Manager and Site Director. Mike graduated from CSU-Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration followed by a Master’s degree in Education from Monmouth University. Prior to joining the RehabGYM, Mike owned and operated Petra Cliffs Climbing Center in Burlington, VT for almost eight years. Mike specializes in corporate wellness, team development, organizational design, and process improvement.

Houle comes to Child Travel/Albany Travel from the automobile rental industry where he successfully managed the airport-based Enterprise Rent-A-Car division in the Albany, NY region. “We are excited to have Jason join our team as Corporate Travel Business Manager,” remarked Ted Child, President and owner of Travel Leaders- Child Travel/Albany Travel.

Three named to Northshire Civic Center board

Chip Edson, Adria Schozer and Ben Weiss have been named to the Board of Directors of the Northshire Civic Center, the non-profit organization for Hunter Park and Riley Rink in Manchester Center.

As Bill Hadden, president of the board said, “our new directors bring knowledge and enthusiasm of our programs. With our capital campaign underway to construct three playing fields, we wanted to enhance community involvement with leaders in business and sports.”
