Engelberth welcomes Mary Lintermann and Ted Hirdler

Engelberth Construction is pleased to announce that Mary Lintermann has recently rejoined the company as Director of Business Development. Mary brings extensive sales and marketing experience to this role, as well as a solid background in engineering, development and business planning.

As Director of Business Development, Mary is responsible for generating new project opportunities for Engelberth throughout northern New England. Her primary focus is on continued client relations, especially prior to, during and after construction.

New England Culinary Institute appoints new director of admissions

The New England Culinary Institute (NECI) has announced the appointment of Dwight A. Cross as its new Director of Admissions.

A long-time resident of Montpelier, Cross joined NECI in September 2012 following his retirement from Vermont Technical College (VTC) in Randolph, where he spent 22 years in the Admissions office. After serving in various positions including Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Vermont Academy of Science and Technology, Cross ended his 22 year career at VTC serving as its Assistant Dean of Enrollment.

Three at GeoDesign earn Vermont professional engineer licensure

GeoDesign, Inc. announced that Shawn P. Kelley, Ph.D., Jacob F. Wimett, and Joshua D. Gilman recently became licensed Professional Engineers in the State of Vermont. Dr. Kelley is an associate and shareholder in the firm and Messrs. Wimett and Gilman are engineers with GeoDesign.

The three engineers are based in GeoDesign’s Windsor, VT office and specialize in geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering. Services provided include deep and shallow foundation design, earth retention and slope stabilization projects and in-situ soil testing, among others.
