University of Vermont has announced the appointment of an outstanding scholar, experienced administrator, and longtime University citizen to the position of Interim Provost and Senior Vice President. Dr. Robert B. Low, Professor Emeritus of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, has agreed to assume this important role, pending Board of Trustees' approval, for the period beginning January 1, 2013 through the completion of the national search for Provost. The expected completion time for that search is Fall, 2013.
