Emerge Vermont announces board of directors

Emerge Vermont, dedicated to increasing the number of Democratic women serving in elected and appointed office at all levels of government through a comprehensive 5-month training program, announced its Board of Directors today.

Since officially founding Emerge Vermont on August 7, 2013, the Board of Directors has led the organization through a successful launch, a series of kick-off events and an incredibly successful first-year fundraising effort. The Board named Executive Director, Sarah McCall, in August 2013 to lead these efforts.

Paul Danos, dean of Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, named to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Board of Trustees

Paul Danos, Dean of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, has been appointed to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Board of Trustees. He will also serve on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Board.

Danos, whose expertise includes financial accounting, corporate governance and higher education, will chair the Finance Committee of the Board and serve as Treasurer for the D-H and D-HH Boards.

Dr. Suiter joins Barre Internal Medicine

Elizabeth Suiter, M.D. relocated to Vermont From the State of Washington where she was medical director at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center.

Dr. Suiter received her B.A. from Yale University and graduated with Distinction in Anthropology. She earned her M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholar. She completed her residency in primary care internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

North Star Leasing hires director of sales & marketing

North Star Leasing announces the hiring of Rick Royer as the company’s first Director of Sales & Marketing. Rick joins the company after working the past 25+ in the telecom industry holding the title of vice president of sales, customer service and marketing across 4 start-up companies. During this period he developed inside and outside sales teams across New England and implemented business processes to support the sales growth. He brings a wealth of knowledge in business development, customer retention and team building across all company departments.
