800response hires two new employees

800response has announced the hiring of two new employees. Both started in February.

Kate Kinney joins the accounting team at 800response as a staff accountant and will be preparing financial statements for the business. Prior to 800response, Kate ran her own accounting consulting business.

Morgan Pulitzer started with 800response in February as a marketing coordinator, and will work with the team to manage inbound lead activity and support the marketing and sales teams.

Kinney Pike Insurance recognizes 2013 top producers

Kinney Pike Insurance, a leading independent insurance agency in Northern New England, announced its top producers for 2013, recognized for producing the most new business in both the commercial and personal insurance lines of business. Jody Freeman has been honored as the winner of the 2013 Barwood Sales Achievement Award for personal lines insurance. Adam King has been honored with the 2013 Dorsey Award, awarded to the commercial insurance Account Executive producing the top sales.

NEFCU announces employee news

New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) announced recently that Rob Wheeler has been promoted to Business Loan Manager, with oversight of business loan production, operations, compliance and servicing. Rob has been with NEFCU for 10 years and has been instrumental in the formation and success of business lending.

NEFCU also announced that Jason Pidgeon has been appointed Business Loan Officer. Jason has been with NEFCU for 12 years, serving as a Mortgage Loan Officer for ten years.

BAYADA Hospice in Burlington appoints TylaAnn Burger, RN, CHPCA associate director

BAYADA Hospice in Burlington has announced that TylaAnn Burger, RN, CHPCA, has been named associate director, responsible for leading the team and managing all operations of the office. The office provides high quality end-of-life services— including clinical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to adults and seniors throughout Vermont.

Burger is the only certified hospice administrator in Vermont. Hospice administrator certification ensures that a person has mastered specific competences related to hospice administration, and demonstrates excellence in the hospice field.

Mansfield Hall announces addition of program director

Mansfield Hall, a Burlington-based college assistance and residential program for students with learning challenges, mild autism, and other conditions, welcomed Jasmine Lamb as program director. As program director, Lamb oversees day-to-day operations of Mansfield Hall and works closely with staff to provide an integrated program of support to its resident college students.

Vermont Tech students honored at engineers week banquet

Three Vermont Tech students were celebrated at the annual Engineers Week 2014 banquet at the Doubletree Hotel in South Burlington, Vt. on Friday, February 21 for their academic achievements in the college’s engineering program. Liz Dye, a Computer Engineering Technology student, was recognized as Vermont Tech Technician of the Year and Dave Cacciamani, an Architectural Engineering Technology student, was recognized as Vermont Tech Engineer of the Year.
