Bill Atkinson P.E. has been elected to serve as the Vice President for the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and was awarded Fellow status in the organization. He will serve on the Executive Committee and as the Society President for the 2023-2024 Term. With Vermont’s vaccination levels at well over 80 percent and Delta variant-related cases rising, the 124 members of the Larner College of Medicine’s medical Class of 2025 are starting their journeys to becoming physicians during a completely new and different academic year, but they’ll be doing it in person.

Over the last month, four local food pantries received donations from the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) made possible through NVBR’s Annual Food Drive. This year’s food drive raised over 5,000 dollars through support provided by Food Drive sponsors and NVBR members.

The local food shelves that each received donations of $1250 are Grand Isle Food Shelf, Milton Family Community Center, St. Albans Food Shelf, and Winooski Food Shelf.
