Knapp assumes role as medical director

After nearly eight months as a member of the psychiatric team at Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS), Justin Knapp, MD, has accepted the role as Medical Director of the state-designated Agency that serves the Washington County catchment area. The University of Vermont Health Network has hired a system-level Chief Nursing Officer who will be instrumental in leading the nursing practice across our Vermont and Northern New York affiliates. The Nature Conservancy in Vermont appoints Oates interim director of Government Relations and Policy

The Nature Conservancy in Vermont (TNC) is pleased to announce that Lauren Oates will assume the role of Interim Director of Government Relations and Policy, following the departure of Phil Huffman in early August. Oates has been with TNC since 2019, where she has proven herself a leader in advancing climate-forward policies, programs, and initiatives.

Mack interns have a big impact during summer 2021 program

It has been a productive summer at Mack Molding thanks not only to strong demand for the Company’s full suite of contract manufacturing services, but also to Mack’s summer interns.

Mack welcomed 15 students into its 2021 program, including 13 at its Headquarters in Arlington, Vt., as well as one each at its Cavendish, Vt., facility and wholly-owned subsidiary, Mack Prototype, in Gardner, Mass. While this year’s cohort is predominantly made up of engineering students, other represented majors include nursing, finance and business administration.

Berryhill recognized for teaching excellence

Community Health’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bradley Berryhill received the 2020 Family Medicine Teaching Award for the health network’s excellence in teaching medical students. The award, given through a joint sponsorship of the Vermont Academy of Family Physicians and the University of Vermont Department of Family Medicine, also recognized Community Health for its “commitment above and beyond the standard contributions to our teaching programs.”
