Over the last month, four local food pantries received donations from the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) made possible through NVBR’s Annual Food Drive. This year’s food drive raised over 5,000 dollars through support provided by Food Drive sponsors and NVBR members.
The local food shelves that each received donations of $1250 are Grand Isle Food Shelf, Milton Family Community Center, St. Albans Food Shelf, and Winooski Food Shelf.
The Food Drive’s success is made possible through the work of NVBR’s Community Service Committee. “Even with the challenges of the pandemic, NVBR members and our sponsors provided generous support during the annual food drive.” said Lauren Gaffney Cohen, Chair of the Community Service Committee, “Providing local food shelves with these additional funds will help meet the needs of residents who rely on these valuable services.”
The Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) represents over 800 REALTORS® and affiliated businesses serving residents in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties, You can learn more about NVR by visiting our website at www.nvbr.com.
