Zorn appointed executive director of Pride Center of Vermont
Phoebe Zorn, director of development and communications at the Pride Center of Vermont, has been promoted to executive director of the Burlington-based LGBTQ+ advocacy organization. She succeeds Chelsey Branham, who has been serving as interim executive director since earlier this year.
Zorn began her tenure at the Pride Center in November 2020 as the organization’s first operations coordinator. Two years later, she was promoted to director of development and communications.
Former state treasurer appointed to FAF board of trustees
Former state Treasurer Beth Pearce has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, the organization that provides oversight of the financial standards-setting boards for U.S. companies and governments. Her term will run from Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2028.
Pearce currently serves as chair of the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Council, providing guidance and insights into government accounting standards to the council’s members.

Gifford welcomes nurse practitioner Warren McDermott
Nurse practitioner Warren McDermott has joined the primary care team at Gifford, seeing patients at Rochester Health Center and at the Post-Acute Care Clinic in Randolph. In his PACC role, McDermott follows up with patients who have been discharged from the hospital or emergency department to review their care plan and make sure they have what they need.
