Clarice Cutler of East Montpelier, Evan Foster of Burlington, Maria Brosseau of Burlington and Mead Binhammer of Brookfield have joined the Vermont Land Trust to advance conservation across the state.

Cutler, former environmental analyst for the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, joins VLT as project director for central Vermont and the Northeast Kingdom. She will be working with farmers on new conservation projects and helping to steward lands that have already been conserved.

Dr. Stephen Leffler, president and chief operating officer at the University of Vermont Medical Center, has joined the Academic Medical Center CEO Executive Advisory Council of Vizient, the nation’s largest member-driven, health care performance improvement company. Leffler will serve on the 16-member council for a three-year term beginning in 2024.

Chris Sabick, director of research and archaeology and interim co-director of Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, has been appointed executive director of the highly regarded research and educational institution. A nautical archaeologist by trade, Sabick has spent his entire professional career with the museum.
