Outright Vermont Names New Executive Director
Outright Vermont is exited to announce Melissa Murray as the organization's new Executive Director.Murray will start on March 15th, succeeding Christopher Neff, who stepped down in December. Founded in 1989, Outright Vermont is the state's LGBTQ queer youth center and statewide advocacy organization. The Mission of Outright is to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for LGBTQ queer youth (ages 13-22).
Communications specialist joins Saint Michael's College admission office staff
Jeremy Brown, former member services manager for the Opportunities Credit Union of Burlington, joined the Saint Michael's College admission office staff on Feb. 8, as assistant director of admission. Brown will work in all areas of student recruitment with particular focus on communications.
Bero Receives Vermont P.E. Licensure
McFarland Johnson announces that Peter C. Bero, an Assistant Engineer in the Facilities Group, recently became licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Vermont with a specialty in Structural Engineering.
Mr. Bero has experience in the fields of building and bridge engineering. His building engineering experience includes the design of new single and multi-story buildings as well as the design of building additions. His bridge engineering experience includes bridge replacement as well as rehabilitation.
Energizing the H-Team at Heritage Ford Toyota/Scion
Jason Quenneville and Ryan Denecker have come on as the newest members of the H-Team– both surprisingly young, for their extensive experience in the world of local car dealerships.
Jason has recently joined as Sales Manager for Toyota New Car Sales, and Ryan has come on as sales manager for Toyota Used Car Sales. Each is responsible for seeing the sale of a car, new or used, through from beginning to end. Managing inventory, sales staff, customer needs, paperwork, and the final service and cleaning of a car before the keys are handed over.
Encore Redevelopment hires project analyst
Christopher Mutty has joined Encore Redevelopment as a project analyst. He began his relationship with Encore in the summer of 2009 as a student intern, a position he retained during his final semester at Middlebury College. Christopher recently graduated from Middlebury, where he earned a B.A.
Champlain College hires office manager
Ben Kohler of Burlington has been hired as the office manager for the Continuing Professional Studies (CPS) Administration at Champlain College. He is a 2007 graduate of Champlain with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Kohler replaces Sarah Olson, who has recently transitioned to a new role as Senior Academic and Student Services Advisor for Champlain College CPS.
