Jason Quenneville and Ryan Denecker have come on as the newest members of the H-Team– both surprisingly young, for their extensive experience in the world of local car dealerships.
Jason has recently joined as Sales Manager for Toyota New Car Sales, and Ryan has come on as sales manager for Toyota Used Car Sales. Each is responsible for seeing the sale of a car, new or used, through from beginning to end. Managing inventory, sales staff, customer needs, paperwork, and the final service and cleaning of a car before the keys are handed over.
Jason Quenneville has spent twelve years at dealerships across Vermont. Starting, in 1998, at Shay’s in Middlebury- he was plucked from the garage and started his first day on the sales floor by selling three cars. He went on to work as finance manager for G-Stone, then Sales Manager at Freedom Partners, Burlington Chrysler. Before Freedom Partners, from 2008-2009, Jason worked at Denecker Chevrolet where he met future Heritage sales partner, Ryan Denecker.
Juxtaposed to Jason, Ryan Denecker spent twelve years, from 1998-2009, at the family owned dealership, Denecker Chevrolet, where he focused on sales but had his hand in service, marketing and finances. In 2003 he graduated from Dealer College where he, along with dealership owners from around the country, learned skills and techniques for managing a store. So when he left Denecker in late 2009 it was for the similar family environment he found at Heritage Ford Toyota/Scion, “Being a family man myself, I appreciate that at Heritage, business is important but family is more important.”
Ryan has taken on the tricky department of used cars- where customer expectations are high and inventory fluctuates. His focus is on strengthening the used car inventory at Heritage, and moving it towards its potential as a “go to” dealership for customers with any need and budget.
While Jason, has taken the lead with sales staff, already scheduling and upholding weekly sales training sessions- as well as writing a sales process booklet based on well known standards and criteria to have everyone on the sales floor working as a team, towards the same high standards.
