Secretary of State Jim Condos announces that Ali Sarafzade has been hired to lead the Corporations Division for the Secretary of State’s office, effective immediately. A Montpelier resident with experience in economic development and business services Sarafzade has a unique mix of public and private sector experience, including roles in the Vermont Department of Economic Housing and Community Development; as Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs in Washington DC; and as a fellow with the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance.
