John Baumann, vice president and chief financial officer at the civil engineering firm DuBois & King, has been named Business Executive of the Year by the White River Valley Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes professional success and exemplary contributions to a business’ growth, vitality, financial health, success and sustainability.

NPI Technology Management, a South Burlington company that provides information technology support and services to a variety of businesses in the Northeast, has promoted employee Kenneth White and welcomed Gary Brown to the organization.

White was elevated from schedule coordinator to project coordinator. In his new role, he organizes and communicates on the status of client projects while also implementing internal NPI initiatives.

The Windham Foundation, a Grafton-based organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the social, economic and cultural vitality of Vermont’s smaller communities, has hired Bill Kuhnert as director of finance.

Kuhnert, who graduated from Cornell University with a double  major in mathematics and economics, brings to his new position more  than 25 years of financial leadership and expertise in the field, ranging from resort  management and hospitality to food production, packaging and distribution.
