The Board of Directors of Rutland Area Farm and Food Link (RAFFL) is pleased to announce Elena Gustavson has been named the new Executive Director, effective August 1. Gustavson succeeds Tara Kelly who was appointed in June to serve as the Planning Director for the City of Rutland. Kelly was a founding member of RAFFL in 2004 and served as the organization’s first director in 2009, a position she held for seven years.

The Vermont Department of Public Safety announces the election of Commissioner Keith Flynn to the National Criminal Justice Association (NJCA) Board of Directors. Elected by peers from across the country, the NJCA is a national voice helping to shape criminal justice policy.

Commissioner Flynn was elected August 7th, at the 2016 National Forum on Criminal Justice in Philadelphia, PA. Flynn will serve on the board during the 2016-2017 term, as the NCJA works to promote a balanced approach to communities' complex public safety, criminal and juvenile justice system problems.
