Capstone Community Action announced today that Christine Johnson has joined the organization as Deputy Director of Mission Fulfillment and Program Excellence. Brian Tagliaferro was hired in May as the Director of Resource Development and Grants. Both positions are a critical part of the leadership team at Capstone Community Action.

Every September, Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) presents the Vision Awards at the Harvest Ball, an event sponsored by the SVHC Foundation. The ball will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the 1768 Hubbell Homestead at Colgate Park.

This year, SVHC will honor two individuals, a physician and a community member, for their efforts to advance the health system’s vision of healthier communities. The honoree for SVHC’s 2016 Health Care Leadership Award is William Ketterer, MD. Brian Knight is the recipient of SVHC’s 2016 Distinguished Community Service Award.

Speed brings 15 years of experience, most recently as Sales Manager in a business-to-business role at Cabot Creamery. “The company culture at Twincraft tore me away from my previous position,” Speed explained.
