Poley promoted to Project Manager

ReArch Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Majken Poley from Assistant Project Manager to a Project Manager. In her new role, she is responsible for overseeing construction projects to ensure that they are completed in accordance with all project documentation and in a timely manner. Majken started with ReArch in 2013 and her previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager with ReArch over the past few years has given her a unique ability to move seamlessly into her new position as Project Manager.

Loomis joins Stern Center for Language & Learning’s board of directors

Molly Loomis will join the Stern Center for Language and Learning’s Board of Directors when it convenes its 36th Annual Meeting on October 10, 2019. Molly combines expertise in learning theory and practice, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement to help mission-driven organizations become more engaging, innovative and inclusive. She launched her career at her hometown museum, the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, and went on to design innovative programs and exhibits at children's and science museums across the country.

White River Junction VA Medical Center enhances radiology services for veterans

The VA Medical Center in White River Junction welcomes Dr. Kevin Llewellyn, Neuroradiologist, to their facility. Neuroradiology is a subspecialty of radiology focusing on the diagnosis and characterization of central and peripheral nervous system abnormalities including those affecting the spine, head, and neck, using neuroimaging techniques.

Shannon MacVean-Brown ordained and consecrated as bishop of Vermont

The Rt. Rev. Shannon MacVean-Brown is now the 1,122nd bishop of The Episcopal Church and the first African-American to serve as Bishop of Vermont. Her Sept. 28 ordination and consecration was witnessed live by approximately 900 people at Ira Allen Chapel and overflow seating areas on the University of Vermont campus in Burlington, not including those who watched live online.

Brooks joins PP&D Brochure Distribution

Bill Orleans, president of PP&D Brochure Distribution, is excited to announce the hiring of Amanda Brooks as the new manager of the PP&D Call Center and Fulfillment Program. She was recently employed by Gardener’s Supply Company and is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. Recently operated by Maxham Warehousing of Worcester, Vermont, PP&D assumed this state contract last year at that site. They have now moved this program to their Pine Street Burlington location.

Vermont Chamber announces new board members

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce announces the addition of three new members of its board of directors, as well as the election of officers and board members for the next year. Taft named Director of Plant Operations at MAHHC

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) has announced the appointment of Tyson Taft to the position of Director of Plant Operations. Taft succeeds Joseph Martaniuk, who directed Plant Operations at MAHHC for the previous 25 years. In his new role, Taft becomes a member of the organizational leadership team and assumes responsibility for directing the maintenance, safety, and security of the Hospital’s owned or leased buildings, grounds, telecommunications, security, HVAC systems and other physical plant operations.

Vail Resorts names Bartels new Mount Sunapee GM

Vail Resorts, Inc (NYSE: MTN) announced that Tracy Bartels, currently senior director of mountain operations at Keystone Resort, will assume the role of general manager at Mount Sunapee, effective November 18. The appointment to the New Hampshire resort follows the announcement that Bruce Schmidt would be transitioning from his role at Mount Sunapee to serve as vice president and general manager of Okemo, with oversight of Mount Sunapee and Crotched Mountain.
