Brooks joins PP&D Brochure Distribution

Bill Orleans, president of PP&D Brochure Distribution, is excited to announce the hiring of Amanda Brooks as the new manager of the PP&D Call Center and Fulfillment Program. She was recently employed by Gardener’s Supply Company and is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. Recently operated by Maxham Warehousing of Worcester, Vermont, PP&D assumed this state contract last year at that site. They have now moved this program to their Pine Street Burlington location.

Current clients include 1-800-Vermont - Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, Vermont Historic Sites, and Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Founded in 1981, PP&D’s primary business is distribution of tourist brochures and magazines. They currently have 9 employees, 5 vans, and manage over 700 brochures and magazine displays in Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire. PP&D current clients include: The Vermont Chamber, Magic Hat Brewery, Jay Peak Resort, Vermont Country Store, Lake Champlain Ferries, Ben & Jerry’s, Cabot Creamery, Vermont Teddy Bear, and Dakin Farms.

“It is exciting to take on this new project and help serve Vermont and our brochure clients,” says Orleans.

“Being able to talk to prospective tourists about why they should visit Vermont is so fun,” Brooks said. “I love this state and every day I’m learning something new.”

"The Lake Champlain Chamber has worked with PP&D for over 30 years. We are very pleased they are taking on this new endeavor and know that Vermont will be well-served." - Catherine Z. Davis, Executive Vice President, Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce.
