Many of you may recognize Katherine from her much-beloved books, including Bridge to Terabithia and The Great Gilly Hopkins. Many may also know Katherine from her 31 years as a resident of Barre and Montpelier.

Barre native and national quality expert Anna T Noonan, BSN, MS, RN, has been appointed president and chief operating officer for The University of Vermont Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC). Following a rigorous national search, she emerged as the successful candidate and will start in the role July 24.

Special Olympics Vermont President & CEO, Lisa DeNatale has announced she will retire, effective December 1, 2017. Vermont Legal Aid (VLA) staff attorney Sean Londergan has been selected as Vermont’s new State Long-Term Care Ombudsman (SLTCO). Starting May 1, Londergan began leading the Vermont Long-Term Care Ombudsman Project (VOP), a team comprised of six regional ombudsmen and local volunteers.
