Citizens Bank today announced the appointment of Jack Murphy as President of Business Banking. Murphy, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, previously served as head of Business Banking Sales. Murphy replaces Chris Ward, who is leaving to pursue another opportunity. Business Banking is the division of Citizens serving businesses with annual revenues of up to $25 million.

Ruth Doiron, RN, has been named Employee of the Month at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC). “Ruth is a respected, dependable member of our care team,” said Kim Ambrose, Nurse Manager. “She is always willing to help her colleagues, and is warm and understanding with patients.

Bowl New England Inc (BNE), headquartered in Colchester, Vermont announces the addition of Travis Counter of Hinesburg as Restaurant Manager at their City Sports Grille. Counter brings a solid hospitality background and is responsible for the everyday operation of the restaurant. Counter worked most recently as a foodservice director for Flik Hospitality, of Westlake, Texas.

He is in charge of comment review, social media engagement and multi-media productions. Florencio Terra has been hired as VTDigger’s membership and events coordinator. Terra previously worked for Zutano Inc, the children’s clothing company.

United Way of Northwest Vermont announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Jesse Bridges as Chief Executive Officer effective May 30, 2017. Bridges is currently Director of the City of Burlington Parks Recreation & Waterfront Department.
