TPW Real Estate Managing Broker, Alison Cummings, has been awarded the Realtor of the Year for the South Central VT Board of Realtors. Alison Cummings is the Managing Broker for TPW Real Estate’s Stratton office and is the 2018 President of the Vermont Association of Realtors. Ali’s list of professional achievements and community involvement is extensive and impressive.

The Stern Center for Language and Learning welcomed nationally recognized literacy expert Dr Jane Ashby to its staff June 4, 2018. Dr Ashby is a widely published author and a leader in the field of education with a passion for working with students and collaborating with teachers.

Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) State Director Linda Rossi this week announced Assistant Director Heather M. Gonyaw as VtSBDC’s 2018 Vermont State Star. Gonyaw joined the VtSBDC team in 2002 and has held several positions during that time. She currently serves as the assistant director of grants and finance.

Brian Armstrong and Jackson Applebaum are pleased to announce the appointment of Property Manager Dan Hogan to the Strong Will Property Management team. A 2011 graduate of Rice Memorial High School and 2015 graduate of Castleton University, Dan will oversee daily operations, business development, and customer fulfillment.

Continuing in its multi-year growth trajectory, Manufacturing Solutions, Inc (MSI) is pleased to announce recent employee promotions and a new hire. Robert Cookson, Jr started with MSI in 2006, as a Firearms Assembler in MSI’s Aerotek division. Cookson worked his way up to Department Assistant Manager and eventually Department Manager, assembling various model AK’s over the years.

The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA), an affiliate of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST), announced that Vermont State Treasurer Beth Pearce and Nebraska State Treasurer Don Stenberg were each awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual NAST Treasury Management Training Symposium, held in Orlando, Florida.

With the beginning of the fiscal year NERC has a new slate of Executive Officers. Kaley Laleker, Maryland Department of the Environment steps up to the President of the Board position, having previously served as the Vice President. Kaley is the Deputy Director of the Land and Materials Administration.

Richard Cowart, President of the VEIC Board of Directors, announced today the appointment of three new board members. Colin Owyang, Ellen Zuckerman, and Nick Richardson, will begin their terms as VEIC board members in July 2018.
