Donna Lasick, former senior vice president at Global Atlantic Financial Group, has joined National Life Group in Montpelier as corporate controller.

The Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging recently welcomed Jessica Bussiere, former personal care assistant at Aris Solutions in White River Junction, as case manager for the southern Caledonia County area. In her new role, Bussiere will support older and disabled adults who seek to live independently and age well.

Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas has tapped Kevin Rushing for director of the state Office of Professional Regulation, which provides public protection by regulating 51 professions with approximately 85,000 licensees. He succeeds Lauren Hibbert, who now serves as deputy secretary of state.

Rutland Regional Medical Center, the largest community hospital in Vermont, has recognized four health care employees as 2022 Providers of the Year. The winners were selected for their contributions to the Greater Rutland community, staff and patients.

The Bank of Bennington has promoted Kati Irwin and Alec Nicol to branch managers and elevated Jason Redden and Susan Bushee to new positions in the loan department. Irwin, a nine-year Bank of Bennington employee, will manage the Arlington branch, and Nicol, a four-year bank employee, will lead the Manchester branch.
