Donna Lasick, former senior vice president at Global Atlantic Financial Group, has joined National Life Group in Montpelier as corporate controller.
In her new role, Lasick will supervise a team of 25 financial professionals overseeing National Life's financial reporting, corporate accounting, investment accounting, corporate tax, sales reporting and accounting policy. She will also represent National Life in interactions with state insurance regulators; outside counsel and auditors; the NLG Board of Directors; peer companies; and industry groups.

At Global Atlantic, Lasick contributed to the company's transition to a public company, built its accounting architecture and provided financial assistance on a number of acquisitions and reinsurance structures. Before joining Global Atlantic, Lasick served as controller for the Reinsurance Group of America.
