The board of directors of Vermont Electric Power Company have voted unanimously to promote General Counsel, Senior Director and Sustainability Director Mark Sciarrotta to vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. The board's action represents Sciarrotta’s latest advancement in his 15-plus-year career at VELCO.

Susan Evans McClure, executive director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in Vergennes, has been named executive director of the Vermont Arts Council, the state’s primary provider of funding, advocacy and information for the arts in Vermont, effective May 8.
