David Qian of South Burlington has joined the board of directors of Pathways Vermont, a nonprofit organization working to end homelessness and provide innovative mental health alternatives in Vermont. Qian has a background in finance and real estate investing and has served on the board of other nonprofits in New York City.
As an immigrant whose family struggled with housing issues, Qian brings a unique perspective to the Pathways board.
"I am happy to be part of a team that helps our community solve the homelessness issue," Qian said. "Additionally, over the past few years, I have started learning about the importance of mental health and wellness."
