ARC Mechanical Contractors has announced that Michael R. Cook, a Jericho resident, has been elected to the office of Vice President for the Champlain Valley Chapter (Vermont) of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for 2009 – 2010. Cook, a project manager and field engineer for ARC, has 26 years experience in the building and construction industry. Michael received his education at the University of Vermont and Vermont Technical College.

John F. McSoley, Peter L. McCoy, and Thomas C. Stretton announced that Nicolae Lungu joined McSoley McCoy & Co. as a Staff Accountant. Nicolae graduated from the University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2009 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, and a minor in Finance.
