Dean Chapman, MD joins Central Vermont Medical Center Hospitalist Team
Judy Tarr, CVMC President and CEO is pleased to welcome Dr. Chapman to the CVMC hospitalist team. “Dr. Chapman’s experience as a minister, prior to studying medicine, makes him uniquely qualified to treat patients in a hospital setting,” stated Tarr.
Dr. Chapman received his BA in English from Oberlin College, earning his Doctor of Ministry ten years later from Columbia Theological Seminary. From 1982 to 2003 he worked as a Presbyterian Minister, pastoring local congregations, primarily in the Orlando area.

Robert J. Gould Appointed Vice President for Enrollment Management at GMC
Green Mountain College welcomes Robert J. Gould of Albany,
N.Y. as the College's new vice president for enrollment management.
Gould has served in a variety of higher education leadership roles for
19 years, most recently as vice president of finance (CFO) and
administrative operations at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health
Sciences (ACPHS), Albany. In his role at GMC, Gould will provide vision
and leadership for the College's student admissions and enrollment
marketing operations.

Rock Climbing Instructor to North Country’s New Surgeon
Growing up with a father who was a dentist, Dr. Randall Zuckerman was no stranger to the world of medicine, but instead of following in his father's footsteps he decided to pursue a career in teaching. Then an adventurous job as a rock climbing instructor in Wyoming changed the entire course of his life.
“I wasn't one of those kids who always said he wanted to be a doctor,” Dr. Zuckerman said. “I thought I'd be an English teacher. The one thing I knew is I wanted to have a job where I could make the world a better place.”
