The Vermont Medical Society (VMS) recently honored five Vermonters for their outstanding contributions to the health and well being of the state’s residents. The award recipients were recognized during the 197th annual meeting of VMS at the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont.

Bruce Foust, Senior Vice President and Business Banking Manager for Merchants Bank, announced the appointment of Lisa Geraghty as Business Banker Officer.

Ms. Geraghty will primarily be serving the business needs of small to mid-sized businesses in Northern Vermont.
