Green Mountain College welcomes Robert J. Gould of Albany,

N.Y. as the College's new vice president for enrollment management.

Gould has served in a variety of higher education leadership roles for

19 years, most recently as vice president of finance (CFO) and

administrative operations at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health

Sciences (ACPHS), Albany. In his role at GMC, Gould will provide vision

and leadership for the College's student admissions and enrollment

marketing operations.

A Vermont native with more than 25 years of certified

nurse-midwifery experience has returned to the Green Mountain State and

joined Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

Certified nurse-midwife Donna Butler grew up in East Montpelier, attending

Montpelier High School and then the “new” U-32 high school when it opened

her junior year. She went on to the University of Vermont to study nursing,

collecting her bachelor’s degree, and then to the University of Utah,

Catherine received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Trinity College. She also received her Associates degree in Accounting from Champlain College. Before joining our firm, she was a Senior Account Executive from Aon Insurance Manager, Inc. in Burlington, VT. Prior to that, she was employed as a Senior Manager with KPMG, LLP in Colchester, VT for eight years.

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cornell University. She also received her Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. Before joining our firm, she was an Internal Auditor from the Pepsi Bottling Group in Denver.

Gallagher, Flynn & Company, LLP is pleased to announce that Karen M. Lascelle has accepted the position of Supervisor in the firm’s Tax Department. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Business Administration both in Business and Accounting from New Hampshire College and Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to joining our firm, she was a Managing Member of Lascelle Accounting Firm, LLC, in Bow, New Hampshire.

Cara Collins has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Associate Accountant. Cara is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her CPA. Her prior experience includes public accounting as well as professional support for the Women Business Network throughout Vermont. Cara is originally from Central Vermont but currently resides in Colchester.

Directors of the Southern Vermont Health Services Corporation (SVHSC) and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital recently welcomed Deborah Boyle to serve on the board. Boyle grew up in Brattleboro and was actually born at BMH.

A Vice President and Commercial Lender at People’s United Bank (formerly Chittenden Bank), Boyle graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Finance, and earned her Master’s Degree from Plymouth State College. She has been with the bank since 1981 (when it was known as Vermont National Bank).

James Mount, Chief Operating Officer of Mount Family Group Ltd has named

Alison Davis as the manager of the company’s Westaff branch in

Burlington.

Davis, who lives in Burlington, is a graduate of Keene State College in

Keene, NH and has been an employee of the Westaff branch in Burlington

since 2005. She has also served as acting manager for the company’s

branch in Barre earlier this year.

“Alison has epitomized our emphasis on customer service,” Mount said.
