Bober named Employee of the Year at Doubletree Hotel
Rick Milliken, General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington has announced that Jennifer Bober, Sales & Catering Coordinator, has been selected as 2011 Employee of the Year. She joined the hotel in 2007 as a Front Desk Agent and was promoted to the sales department in 2008 where she is responsible for small group catering functions as well as coordinating the hotel’s social media, vanity and brand websites, and lead the hotel’s participation in the recent rebranding of the hotel’s name and Hilton logo.

Kelley Jordick, Community Banking Division Manager at Merchants Bank, announced the appointment of Jeanne Albertson as Community Banking Manager of the Hinesburg branch.
Albertson brings seven years of branch management experience and a history of top performance in sales, leadership and customer service to the position. She previously worked at Citizens Bank, managing its Essex Junction branch.
DEW Construction Corp. hires manager of MEP Services
Jay Labare is the newly appointed Manager of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Services for DEW Construction Corp. of Williston, VT and Hanover, NH. Mr. Labare will be based in the Vermont office and will be responsible for MEP estimates, Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and will assist Operations with MEP coordination, commissioning, training and turnover of systems for all DEW projects.
KPMG names Renee Bourget-Place managing partner of firm’s Burlington office
KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, has named Renee Bourget-Place as managing partner of its Burlington office.
In her new role, Bourget-Place will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the Burlington office. She succeeds Ken Deon, who is now leading the firm’s Albany office.
