Donna Hunt, registered dietician at the Rutland Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center, has been named Diabetes Care & Education Specialist of the Year by the Vermont Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.

The Lake Champlain Chamber has announced the addition of Kevin Bushey and Betsy Muller to help further the organization's mission of providing economic opportunity for all Vermonters.

Bushey will serve as visitor center operations manager, where he will oversee all chamber-run visitor centers. A lifelong Vermonter, he has spent over 35 years working in law enforcement.

Worku is a financial services leader with more than 17 years of experience in life insurance distribution and agent development, recruitment and market expansion. He joins National Life from Transamerica Agency Network, where he served as regional vice president.
