Experienced certified nurse-midwife Ellen McAndrew has joined Gifford Ob/Gyn and Midwifery in Randolph and the Twin River Health Center in White River Junction.
A certified nurse-midwife since 1988, McAndrew has also worked as a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner caring for women.
Anesthesiologist Dr. Nazek Shabayek joins Gifford Medical Center
Anesthesiologist Dr. Nazek Shabayek has joined Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, providing medical evaluation and anesthesia for pain management to patients during their surgical experience.
A native of Egypt, Dr. Shabayek has practiced for the last 25 years in Tennessee and previously worked in Connecticut.
New Miss Vermont 2012 selected
Chelsea Ingram, a 23-year-old from Saint Johnsbury, has been chosen as the new Miss Vermont 2012. Held at the South Burlington High School Performing Arts Center, the Miss Vermont Scholarship Competition featured ten contestants from around the state.
