Merchants Bank announced today the confirmation of Janette Bombardier to the board of directors of Merchants Bank. Ms. Bombardier is the Director of Site Operations and Senior Location Executive for the IBM Vermont facility.

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets has announced the appointment of Alan Graham to State Entomologist. Graham has served on staff at the Agency since 2001, most recently as Vector Management Coordinator.

St. Johnsbury attorney Deborah Bucknam was unanimously elected as vice chair of the Vermont Republican Party at the Vermont Republican State Committee Meeting on Saturday, February 23, 2013.

Bucknam has been active in Republican politics for over a decade, first as vice chair of the Caledonia County Republican Party, then as Chair. She has served on many county and state committees and helped her husband Charlie Bucknam run his campaign for State Senate in 2010.

DuBois & King, Inc., consulting engineers announce that Iris Davis has joined the firm as a Mechanical Designer. A recent graduate of the Vermont Technical College, Ms. Davis earned two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Architecture and one in Sustainable Design and Technology as well as an Associate’s Degree in Architecture and Building Technology. Ms. Davis works in the firm’s Williston Office and currently resides in Moretown.
