AmeriCorps Youth Services assistant director named admission counselor at Saint Michael's College

Meghan Jaird, a Burlington resident and 2010 graduate of Saint Michael's College, was named Admission Counselor for Saint Michael’s, starting this month. Ms. Jaird was Assistant Director of National Service Programs for the Washington County Youth Service Bureau, an AmeriCorps program, from 2011 to the present.

FairPoint taps John Lunny to lead new technology division

John Lunny, senior vice president of network planning and engineering for FairPoint Communications, has been promoted to chief technology officer, leading the company’s technology organization.

The move furthers FairPoint’s focus on providing the latest in advanced communication services by uniting its next-generation, fiber-based network, IT, engineering, provisioning, as well as project management and product development, under Lunny’s leadership.

Community Capital of Vermont announces hiring of new loan officer

Martin Hahn, Executive Director of non-profit organization Community Capital of Vermont, proudly announces the hiring of Aaron Krone as its newest loan officer.

HowardCenter announces two new hires

Catherine Burns recently joined HowardCenter as the Director of Evaluation and Outcomes for HowardCenter Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Burns attended Skidmore College and the University of Colorado. She is a Licensed Psychologist-Doctorate and has a Ph.D. from the University of Vermont. Prior to HowardCenter, Burns was the Director of Quality Assurance at Washington County Mental Health. She lives in Richmond with her family.

Adam Goudreau joins VHB as a structural engineer in the growing transportation engineering group in Vermont

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) announces that Adam Goudreau has joined the firm as a Structural Engineer in the Transportation Engineering group.

Mr. Goudreau will work to further enhance the firm’s growing Vermont office, providing a variety of services for steel design, reinforced concrete design, bridge load ratings and inspections, and structural dynamics. He is currently working on several bridge projects for the Vermont Agency of Transportation, including bridges in Guilford, Rochester, Brattleboro and Ludlow.

Michelle grew up in northern New Hampshire but fell in love with Vermont while she was earning her degree in architecture from Norwich University. She married Vermont native Adam Lambert and made central Vermont her permanent home. She is excited to work with you to design the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams.
