Reps Sarah Buxton and Jill Krowinski selected to receive Pacesetter Award at an upcoming National Women’s Leadership Conference

State Representatives Sarah Buxton and Jill Krowinski have both been selected as a 2013 WiLL Pacesetter and will be honored at the upcoming national conference, “Women at the Tables of Power,” sponsored by the Women Legislators’ Lobby (WiLL) of Women’s Action for New Directions (WAND), in Washington, DC, on September 30. Physician assistant Jayne Collins joins Berlin orthopedics practice

Physician assistant Jayne Collins of Greensboro has joined orthopedic surgeon Dr. Stephanie Landvater in practice at the Gifford Health Center at Berlin.

A Montpelier native and graduate of Franklin Pierce University, Collins brings her extensive knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to outpatients, including through injury evaluation, during pre- and post-operative appointments and more.

Volunteers from many towns come out to help clean the Black River

They came with gloves and boots, they came with grappling hooks and canoes...spirits high and determination firm. Ninety-five volunteers of the Black River Action Team scoured bed and banks to remove hundreds of pounds of garbage, debris, and trash from the Black River. It was the 14th Annual RiverSweep, and people of all ages turned out in Springfield, North Springfield, Cavendish, Proctorsville, Perkinsville, Ludlow, and Weathersfield to help.
