The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. announces latest employee news

In September, John Forgit joined the Design department at The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. as the Creative Director. In this role he will be responsible for establishing, leading and directing the overarching creative strategy, guiding a team of graphic designers and copywriters. Prior to being apart of the Bear Crew, John was the Marketing Director for a Trade Show Exhibit and Kiosk/Retail design and marketing company.

Ledyard National Bank’s Kathy Underwood re-elected to ICBA

Vermont insurance agents association elects new officers

Jon Jamieson, CIC, president of Jamieson Insurance Agency in Waitsfield was recently elected president of the Vermont Insurance Agents Association (VIAA). Jamieson’s election as VIAA’s president follows an active involvement with the association that includes serving as vice president, as a member of the Executive Committee, VIAA board member and chair of the Young Agents Committee. Jamieson joined Jamieson Insurance in 1992 as a branch manager in Richmond. He worked as Territory Sales Manager for Progressive Corporation starting in 2000 until 2003 when he returned to the agency.

White + Burke Real Estate Investment Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Gail Henderson-King to the company in the position of Project Manager. Gail works as a part of the team of consultants to execute projects for clients' commercial real estate developments. Gail is a licensed landscape architect. Prior to joining White + Burke she was with Lamoureux & Dickinson Civil Engineers, was the planning director for the Town of Milton, and was a senior design associate with the landscape architectural firm of Dunn Associates.

Rob Aubin brings 25 years of experience to The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain

The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain, a private ski and golf club, has named Rob Aubin director of club operations and membership services as part of the management team. Aubin is responsible for all aspects of the new clubhouse and related operations, as well as the operation of the Hermitage Inn. Until the clubhouse is open next winter season, Aubin will work closely with the clubhouse design and construction teams, in addition to assisting with other aspects of membership services. His appointment is effective immediately.

Eric Cook joins Yestermorrow as semester program director

Yestermorrow Design/Build School recently announced the hire of Eric Cook as its Semester Program Director. Mr. Cook will lead the school’s Semester in Sustainable Design/Build, both as teaching faculty and program director. He recently moved to Waitsfield, VT from Salt Lake City, UT where he ran his own design/build firm, Eric Cook Design/Build and was partner and project manager of the firm RenovateSALTLAKE.
