Rachlin named Vermont chair of American College of Trial Lawyers

The American College of Trial Lawyers has appointed Robert D. Rachlin of Burlington, senior director and general counsel of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC, chair of its Vermont chapter. His current term is from Oct. 28, 2013 to Sept. 17, 2014, the terms defined by the annual fall meetings of the college.

Rachlin was inducted as a fellow of the college in 1989. He has been in active practice since the end of 1959 and is a co-founder of DRM, which is the largest law firm in Vermont.

Freeman French Freeman Architects welcomes Lindsay Colburn, interior designer

Freeman French Freeman welcomes Lindsay Colburn to its growing interior design practice. A 2011 interior design graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, MA, Lindsay interned with design firms in Massachusetts and Connecticut prior to joining the firm. She joins the design team working to redevelop the historic Waterbury State Office Complex and assists with a variety of projects for the company’s diverse mix of commercial, collegiate, and institutional clients.
