Vermont Information Technology Leaders names project manager

Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) today announced the appointment of Jennifer Starling, RN, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP as project manager. In this role, Starling will be working on installing clinical interfaces at Vermont health care organizations and providing clinical expertise on other VITL projects.

Starling, a registered nurse, most recently worked in the emergency department and surgical office at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. She is currently enrolled in a computer science degree program at Florida State University. Starling resides in East Burke.

DominionTech announces that Jamie Danaher receives CompTIA A+ certification

Rishad Ali joins SymQuest as a purchasing agent

Larry Sudbay, President and Chief Executive Officer of SymQuest Group, is pleased to announce the hiring of new Purchasing Agent Rishad Ali.

In his role as a Purchasing Agent, Ali will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for the purchasing department as well as developing purchase quantities based on analysis of current inventory, sales forecasts, sales histories, vendor incentive programs, and budgeted inventory levels. The role also involves minimizing inventory and freight costs.

Andrew is a May, 2012 Cum Laude graduate of Castleton State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. While at Castleton State College, he was an inductee and member of Sigma Beta Delta, the Business Administration Honor Society. In December, 2013 Andrew is expected to achieve the Master of Science in Accounting from Castleton State College.

North Country Hospital celebrates employee service

On October 12, 2013, North Country Hospital and 200 of its employees celebrated excellence and milestones in achievements at their 27th Annual Employee Awards Ceremony. The evening celebrated 91 employees receiving awards and recognitions from 5 years to 35 years of service. The ceremony was hosted at the Elks, which was decorated perfectly for fall and all its glory. Beautiful mums centered each table surrounded by leaves and acorns; corn stalks and scarecrows were also found throughout the venue. The atmosphere was only exceeded by the positive energy of the employees.

Citizens Bank names Sandra Bischof as Vice President, Northern New England Regional Sales Manager

Citizens Bank has named Sandra Bischof as Vice President and Northern New England Regional Sales Manager for the Home Lending Solutions New England division. She is based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Bischof is leading the sales initiatives for the region which includes New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. She is responsible for growing the home lending business in those states as well as recruiting top talent.

Janet Fredericks “Quiet Observations: Anthills, Insects & Water” at CVMC Gallery

Janet Fredericks’ exhibit in the Central Vermont Medical Center lobby gallery ranges from giclee pigment prints to oil on canvas to watercolor and pencil, mixed media and more.

“I work with several medium - oil and acrylic paint, watercolor and gouache, ink and litho crayon. I paint on canvas and paper,” explained artist Janet Fredericks. “I also make monoprints. When travelling, I always carry a sketchbook and have many journal drawings highlighting my excursions.”
