Vermont Chief Legislative fiscal director Stephen Klein wins national award

Stephen Klein, the Chief Fiscal Officer of the Vermont Joint Fiscal Office, will be honored with the Steven D. Gold Award Dec. 6th during the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) Fall Forum in Washington, D.C. The award, presented by NCSL in conjunction with the National Tax Association and the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, recognizes a person who has made a significant contribution to public financial management in the field of intergovernmental relations and state and local finance. It was named for respected financial analyst Steven D.

Mount named Certified Staffing Professional® by American Staffing Association

James Mount, Franchise Owner of Westaff, recently received the Certified Staffing Professional designation from the American Staffing Association. The CSP® program offers a professional credential through completion of an in-depth, self-study course, and an exam of labor and employment law principles and ethical practices applicable to the staffing industry, including the Affordable Care Act.

The CSP program promotes industry-wide competency standards through a uniform national program.

She holds her MBA from Suffolk University and her Bachelors from Long Island University, C.W. Post.
