Kerrin Jeromin named Lyndon State College’s Outstanding Young Alumnae
Kerrin Jeromin has been named the winner of Lyndon State College’s 2013 Outstanding Young Alumni Award. The award highlights graduates who have completed their degree within the past 10 years and have distinguished themselves professionally in their field of study. Jeromin received her award during the College’s annual scholarship awards ceremony held October 24.
Insurance agent honored by National Society of CIC
Joe Burkhard, CIC of Winooski Insurance Agency, Inc. was recently recognized for professional leadership and advanced knowledge by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), a leading national insurance professional organization.
Mr. Burkhard was awarded a certificate marking more than twenty-five years of participation as a designated CIC, which requires annual completion of advanced education and training.
Nelson Lyford Jr., EI, joins DuBois & King
DuBois & King consulting engineers announce that Nelson Lyford Jr., EI, has joined the firm as a Project Engineer in the Site and Land Development Division and will focus on site development work for wireless telecommunication and land development projects. Nelson lives in Montpelier and works out of the firm’s South Burlington office.

Waterbury VT Knights of Columbus make $25,000 donation to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta
The Knights of Columbus Hall located at St. Andrew’s Parish Hall in Waterbury, VT, recently presented Don Sutton, a champion of the South Hero based charity Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a donation check of twenty five thousand dollars. This generous donation was a result of Council 2085’s desire to help finish construction of Camp Ta-Kum-Ta’s Memorial Chapel to serve the needs of children and their families who attend Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.
