Fusion 802 Dance Studio relocates

Nikki and Michael Boutin, owners of Fusion 802 Dance Studio have announced the purchase of 1881 Williston Road, South Burlington to relocate their Colchester business with a scheduled opening of 1-2-14. Fusion 802 offers dance classes for all ages and has been in business since 2010.

Ben Avery and Karen Whitby of KW Vermont, Keller Williams Commercial represented the buyers and Esther Lotz the seller.

Ted Child elected to Travel Leaders franchise advisory board

Alexandra Garbeck of C2 receives Certified Business Analysis Professional

C2 (Competitive Computing), a Colchester-based internet business and enterprise infrastructure consulting firm, announced that Alexandra Garbeck, Sr. Business Analyst, has received her Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification. The CBAP designation is a professional certification for individuals with extensive business analysis experience. With at least 7500 hours of hands-on BA experience, CBAP® recipients are senior members of the BA community. Garbeck is one of only 3,000 individuals in the world to receive the designation, and one three Vermont residents.

KSV welcomes Dan Hoene as video content producer

KSV, a marketing communications firm, welcomes Dan Hoene to its Burlington office as video content producer.

Hoene, who recently graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in film production and a minor in photography, will focus on creating captivating brand videos for KSV clients. VPR announces Peter Hirschfeld to join the station's capital bureau

Vermont Public Radio has announced that reporter Peter Hirschfeld will join the station's capital bureau beginning next month, covering state government and the Vermont Legislature.

Hirschfeld is a leading Vermont journalist who has covered the Statehouse since 2009, most recently as bureau chief for the Rutland Herald and Times Argus. He began his career in 2003, working as a local sports reporter and copy editor at the Times Argus.

Hirschfeld joins veteran reporter Bob Kinzel, who has covered the Legislature and state government since 1981.
