Cathleen Brouillette of Barre has earned the distinction of Associate Professional in Insurance Regulation (APIR) from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). She works as an examiner in the Captives Insurance Division of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation.
To attain the APIR designation requires a series of courses through the NAIC and passing the exams is evidence of a well-rounded knowledge of insurance regulation. The NAIC Insurance Regulator Professional Designation Program was designed for state insurance department employees who want to build their skills, network with regulatory leaders around the country, and learn critical information from people at the center of today’s regulatory initiatives.
