Physician assistant Rebecca Savidge joins hometown health center

Rebecca Savidge grew up in Chelsea, attended the local school and is now the latest health care provider at the Chelsea Health Center.

From her years at the Chelsea Public School, Savidge went on to the University of Vermont where she majored in biology with a chemistry minor. After graduating magna cum laude in 2009, she was part of the inaugural class of the physician assistant master’s degree program at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.

CVMC respiratory therapist Richard Hinchliffe, RRT passes Adult Critical Care Specialty exam

Richard Hinchliffe, RRT-ACCS, a member of Central Vermont Medical Center’s Respiratory Care Team, is the first person in Vermont to achieve the National Board for Respiratory Care’s (NBRC) Adult Critical Care Specialty. Currently there are only 320 respiratory therapists in the United States who have achieved this certification.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock names John Malanowski as new chief human resources officer

John S. Malanowski of Appleton, WI, will be the new Chief Human Resources Officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, beginning on February 3.

With more than 30 years of experience in companies such as Fidelity, Raytheon, and Kimberly-Clark, Malanowski “has demonstrated his ability to design and implement innovative strategies in areas such as team and leadership development, incentive plan design, and organizational change management,” said Dartmouth-Hitchcock CEO and President Dr. James N. Weinstein, in making the announcement of Malanowski’s appointment.

Primmer welcomes shareholder
