Dr. Devika Singh recently joined Mountainview Medical & Central Vermont Oncology at Mountainview Medical , member of the Central Vermont Medical Center Group, She joins Peter Dale, M.D., Nicole Belanger, M.D., Laura Felsted, D.O. David Ospina, M.D. and John Valentine, M.D.
Dr. Singh graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Behavioral Science from Drew University in New Jersey and did her post-baccalaureate work in pre-med at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She earned her M.D. at the University of Rochester school of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York and her M.P.H., Epidemiology in the same school in the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine. Her internship/residency in Internal Medicine was at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Following her residency Dr. Singh was a Fellow in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.
Before moving to the East Coast Dr. Singh was a primary care provider at the Madison HIV Clinic at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and a clinician at the Public Health Seattle and King County STD Clinic.
Dr. Singh’s interests are in women’s health and infectious diseases. She learned about CVMC from a good friend who did some work at the hospital. “My friend was correct about the atmosphere, the culture and the quality of the staff,” she remarked. “I am enjoying my colleagues and my patients.”
In her free time she enjoys long walks with her dog, a beautiful mutt who is a Rottweiler mix. Dr. Singh also likes to travel.
Dr. Singh is now accepting new patients.
The practice is located on the CVMC campus in Medical Office Building B.
Central Vermont Medical Center, along with Fletcher Allen Health Care, CVPH Medical Center and Elizabethtown Community Hospital, is a member of Fletcher Allen Partners, established to develop a more coordinated system of care throughout the region.
