Meridith Vaughan, RN, joins Lamoille Home Health & Hospice as long term care director

Meridith Vaughan, RN, of Moretown, VT, joins Lamoille Home Health & Hospice as its new Long Term Care Director. Meridith has served as Program Coordinator at Out and About for the past four years.

Vaughan will manage the program which provides client-centered care for the frail elderly population and for individuals of any age with permanent disabilities. Our long term care services include homemaker assistance, Choices For Care - through state Medicaid funding, long-term care services are available as an alternative to nursing homes, and case management.

Governor Shumlin appoints new members to Fish & Wildlife board

Governor Peter Shumlin has appointed two new members to the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board.

Cheryl E. Frank Sullivan of Underhill has been appointed to represent Chittenden County, replacing Edward Gallo, whose term has expired. Cheryl is passionate about archery and muzzleloader hunting for deer and icefishing for northern pike. She also fishes for salmon, bowfin and bass on Lake Champlain and hunts turkey, waterfowl and upland birds. When not pursuing outdoor activities, she enjoys riding and showing her horse.

HowardCenter Executive Director Todd Centybear to retire

HowardCenter Executive Director Todd Centybear has announced that he will retire from his position in December.

Centybear has been at the helm of Vermont’s largest human services organization for 13 years and is among the state’s most respected authorities in the field. He has worked at HowardCenter in various roles for 39 years. He is president of the Vermont Council of Developmental and Mental Health Services and he served in numerous other state and national leadership positions as well.

David Grover joins RSG

RSG (Resource Systems Group, Inc.) is pleased to announce that David Grover has joined RSG’s Burlington, Vermont office as a Transportation Engineer. David has five years of experience and will support RSG’s traffic operations, transportation planning, and design work.
