Eileen Casey appointed to Governor’s Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities
Eileen Casey of Williston has been appointed to the Governor’s Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities. She is an Account Executive at WCAX-TV Channel 3. In 2008, she was named Advocate of the Year by the Amputee Coalition of America for her advocacy work for people with disabilities. She serves on the board of Friends of Stowe Adaptive and the Burlington Boys & Girls Club.
UVM Foundation announces new hires, promotions, retirement
The University of Vermont Foundation has announced five new hires, two promotions, and one retirement of a long-time employee.
New hires are Benjamin Kennedy, as donor stewardship assistant; Kathryn Meader, as development assistant; Mark Ray, as executive director of communications;Lisa Townson, as associate director of foundation relations; and Alexa Woodward, as director of corporate and foundation relations.
Promotions are Meredyth Armitage, to senior director of major gifts in the College of Medicine; and Donna Burke, to assistant director of gift planning.

She is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers across the region.
McCutcheon has 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, she served as a Customer Service Manager at Peoples United Bank in Rutland.

Samantha Lane has been named Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) Employee of the Month for April. Lane, who has worked as a Dietary Aide at the Hospital since 2013, was cited for her excellent job performance.
